I'm Razvan Baboiu. I live in Cluj-Napoca, where I put my coding skills to work.
I've loved making things for as long as I can remember (LEGO was and still is my passion), but it wasn't until high school that I discovered my love for coding. At first I was a bit bamboozled by the complexity of it all, but I quickly realized that coding is just another way of creating things. It's like building a LEGO set but with an infinite number of pieces.
I started actually building usable software in college, where I started participating in hackathons. That drive to create something new and useful has stuck with me ever since. And I also think that's what got me into my first internship, at Cloudflight.
From that point on, I've been working as a software engineer, and now a technical architect, on both small and large projects. The thing that kept me going was drum rolls please đ„ coffee. I found a really big passion in coffee, even going as far as participating in the Romanian Aeropress Championship. If you're ever in Cluj-Napoca, hit me up and I'll make you a cup. And if you think I talk alot about tech, wait until you hear me talk about coffee.
Today, I'm the founder of BPS Hubs, where we're working on building meaningful software that helps businesses grow. I'm always looking for new opportunities to collaborate with people who are passionate about their work and want to make a difference in the world.
